Angel
Press brought out a new book on the Teachings of Mother Rytasha, 'Peace'-
The Prophecy Fulfilled, and a Poster by Razzaque Khan
-The
Religion of Love.
When
F.R.I. was founded by Mother Rytasha in 1985, her plan was to serve
God by working for the "Poorest of the Poor." She
felt she was only capable of serving in the limited way of providing
food to the needy, hence the name Food Relief International. But it
seems God had a different plan, and as Mother Rytasha says, she has
had to learn, that when you give your life to serving, that serving
means Love and Love can be neither limited nor conditional. Seeing
where God has taken us, with the founding of schools, medical camps,
Angel Press and so much more, we now find we have outgrown our
original name. And so have now taken the name 'The Servants of
Charity. "

In
the East Mother Rytasha and Razzaque Khan visited our schools and
worked on completing 2 |

schools
and centers. Mother Rytasha's idea is to have the universal truths, as
given by God, carved into the stone, the pillars, walls, and floors.
So that, not only will there be knowledge given in the building, but
that the building itself will be a teaching. We have been gifted with
land near the port of Mongla, Bangladesh, where we will build
a School and Center.
In
Benares, India, we were the guests of Mr. Rama Nand Tiwari of Book
Faith India who distributes our books in the East, and who will be
hosting a medical camp next year. From distribution of books and
posters and the talks given by Mother Rytasha (Professor Pandey, head
of Religious Studies of Benares Hindu University, characterizes Mother
Rytasha's talks as "having a magical affect on the
students") we have already a large following and teams of willing
volunteers.
Our
annual Eye Camp was held this year in Bandha, Bangladesh sponsored by
Nancy Sexauer Walsh. The camp had 102 volunteer workers and treated
2000 patients. All operations, medicines, food and eyeglasses were
free. |
