Our Mission
Food Relief
International - The Servants of Charity is a non-sectarian, non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to
helping those in disasters or disastrous conditions.
Founded
by Mother Rytasha to show the innate goodness of man, and as an expression
of the spiritual reality here on earth. It is truly, "Love made
Concrete!"
Since
1985, F.R.I. - T.S.O.C. has founded 31 schools, educating thousands of children, the
"poorest of the poor", among them slum children, some as young as 8 years old,
whose very survival depends on their working. F.R.I. - T.S.O.C. has opened a free clinic which now
treats over one thousand patients a month, has brought food and clothing to over 100,000
people in relief during earthquake, floods and cyclone disasters, and has been involved in
self sufficiency programs such as community training, seed distribution, interest free
loans, electrification, irrigation, sewing cooperatives and wells. But
having seen that "nothing will really change until the consciousness
of man is changed," we have also spoken and written extensively
of the great spiritual truths found in all religions. In 1993 we
founded Angel Press which has since sold over 500,000 books.
